small black worms in my toilet

I found small black worms in my toilet. I am freaking out thinking if it came out of me or my boys. When I flushed them, they were gone, a few minutes later they where back. What does this mean? Is my water contaminated. Who should I call? Should I go to the Doctor have myself and the boys check just in case. I know when i went to the bathroom I did not see worms, when I flushed was when they appeared.
