Oh gosh.. I just discovered them in PURINA cat treats. I opened the container of cat treats and it appeared to be dust around it. Tried giving it to my cats, they wouldn't eat it (smart guys). I accidentally left the container open and went out to dinner only to come home and find out that they are all over my living room. They are on my table, my carpet, my floors, the left over wine cup and God knows where else. I ran to the store and picked up a spray bottle of lysol. I tested it on the table where these nasty creatures where and and it seems to kill them. My whole house smells like lysol as I have sprayed everything in sight. Just finished mopping and am about to vacuum. For now I will just observe to see if I see them anywhere else. They couldnt have spread so fast in a matter of two hours or so... I cant wait to call my mother in the morning. She has a dog and feeds her the PURINA Beneful healthy weight dry food. This is a disaster. I dont know if I should take my cats to the vet. Maybe this stuff got in their fur and they will continue to carry and spread them throughout the house. Does anyone know if its harmful to humans?

: Today I found these little tiny white looking bugs all over a wine bottle i had sitting on my windowsill in my kitchen. At first i had thought it may had been dust from being near where the fan is, but as i looked closer, i noticed that they were moving!!!! EWWW!!!! i did a search on here and found that people with purina dog food had the same problems, so i went back into my kitchen and looked at my dog food that is right by that window ledge...well it was covered in these tiny little bugs. As i began looking around the area where the dog food was stored i noticed that they were all over my pots and pans and dishes on the shelf under the window!!! on the wall and on the ceiling and on the light of the fan...i am so freaked out! i had to threw away alot of cookware to ensure that i get rid of these bugs! i bleached the whole kitchen down and havent noticed them back yet, thank god!! it literaly took me all day...and i still dont know what they are! i took a piece of tape and caught a few of these lil critters to show to purina because i just bought that dog food and all of a sudden my house is covered in these lil bugs...im not a happy camper at all!!! has anyone else recently have had this problem??? or have any info on it?? please dont hesitate to reply!!! thanks!
