10/17/09 - When I posted a followup to your post, it was caught in the spam filter. I think it was because I entered a URL link to the '07 & '08 e-bug.net posts for this problem. I did post a new post on e-bug.net today with the title "Tiny White Grain Mites in Beneful Dog Food"(with the URL link). It's a detailed post that includes excerpts from an e-mail I sent to someone in Purina's corporate office in the Office of Consumer Affairs. However, the first person I contacted works in the Consumer Complaint Dept. of the FDA (in Seattle where I live).
