invisible organizms eats my cloths

Something invisible is making holes in all my favorite cloths. It eats any kind of fabric including synthetics. It seems like it goes for stuff I wear often that probably has some sweat or food or on it. I tried washing everything and put ceder everywhere, but that does not work and the pest companies don't want to treat it if they can't find any signs of animals. I suspect that it started when I bought a fabric from India and left it in my room for a couple of days without washing it. What should I do? Can anyone help me out there?
